Principles of level sensing

In some cases, you need to use non-translucent canisters to collect solvent waste, so it can be hard to identify if the container reaches its capacity. There is a serious risk of the solvent overfilling, which damages the Exhaust Filter's media and can leak from the canister causing a health risk. We offer various solutions to avoid this situation. One solution is to provide different plastic containers with an integrated level indicator - if the solvent level reaches 80% of the whole volume, a red color indicator will appear indicating that it is time to change the canister. We also offer a mechanical level sensor directly built into the Waste Safety caps (see the figure on the current page). The principle is the same as mentioned before; at 80% volume, a level indicator will appear and alert you to change the container.
